Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American author, performer and actress, best known for her portrayal of Ginger Grant in the 1960s television series Gilligan's Island. Her stage work began in the 1950s, with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Following that, she performed on Broadway in various shows until the year 1957, in which Li'l abner was big in the National Theatre. In the same calendar year she debuted her debut musical album, It's Tina Time. Louise made her debut as a performer in Hollywood in God's Little Acre, a film that was released in the year 1958. She performed the role of Griselda who was a character from the movie. As a student in Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. In 1964, she signed to CBS as a character, Ginger Grant. Louise kept juggling her career in between Broadway television and Hollywood playing more serious roles, as contrast to her image of being a glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. As SG-1, and in the role of Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although in the last few years she's also earned an impact as an accomplished director on numerous well-known TV shows including Supernatural as well as The 100. Her family moved out of Essex to Toronto and she lived there for her childhood and teenage years. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 to play the role and she has settled down there ever since.
